Teddy Sheldon Singer, age 71, beloved husband of Barbara, happily married for 48 years; proud and loving father of Traci Strusiner and Melissa (Harmon) Lyons; cherished “Poppy” of Haley, Jordyn, Logan, and Sully; fond brother-in-law of Marsha (David) Wiggins; devoted son of the late Milt and Babe Singer and son-in-law of the late Jack and Diane Goldstein. Teddy was a special cousin, uncle, and friend to many. Chapel service Sunday, 12:15PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment will follow at Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Cancer Association. I had the pleasure to bowl with Ted.Although he was famous for complaining,sometimes justified most not,there was not a more sincere man that I know. I will miss him horribly.

ted was a very soft spoken in his own special way. when we talked he loved talking about his his family and cruise vacations. he loved to bowl and was excellent in what he did. was a great teammate and without a doubt he surely will be missed by us and I know his family…. I knew something wasn’t right many weeks ago when he complained of being tired so quickly. I’m very sorry for the entire family
